Culinary Adventures: Vibrant Salads and Wholesome Delights

 

  1. Beetroot Salad:

    • Ingredients:
      • Grated beetroot
      • Soaked groundnuts
      • Finely chopped capsicum
      • Grated ginger and coconut
      • Lime juice
      • Salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
      2. Season with salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves.
  2. Carrot Salad:

    • Ingredients:
      • Grated carrot
      • Sprouted green grams
      • Finely chopped capsicum
      • Grated ginger and coconut
      • Lime juice
      • Salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
      2. Season with salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves.
  3. Cucumber Salad:

    • Ingredients:
      • Finely chopped cucumber
      • Capsicum
      • Grated ginger and coconut
      • Lime juice
      • Salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
      2. Season with salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves.
  4. Snake Gourd Salad:

    • Ingredients:
      • Peeled and chopped snake gourd
      • Capsicum
      • Grated ginger and coconut
      • Chopped tomato
      • Lime juice
      • Salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
      2. Season with salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves.
  5. Sweet Beaten Rice:

    • Ingredients:
      • Thin beaten rice
      • Grated coconut
      • Concentrated jaggery syrup
      • Cardamom
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Pungent Hot Beaten Rice:

    • Ingredients:
      • Thick beaten rice (washed and drained)
      • Tamarind syrup
      • Grated coconut
      • Coriander and curry leaves
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
  7. Curd Ash Gourd:

    • Ingredients:
      • Grated ash gourd
      • Ginger
      • Curd
      • Salt, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix all the ingredients well.
  8. Vegetable Juice:

    • Ingredients:
      • Juice from grated vegetables (beetroot, carrot, cucumber, snake gourd, etc.)
      • Lime juice
      • Sugar (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Mix the vegetable juices together.
      2. Add lime juice and sugar to taste.
      3. Serve immediately (do not keep the juice standing).
  9. Groundnut Porridge:

    • Ingredients:
      • Soaked groundnuts
      • Bananas
      • Sugar
      • Cardamom
      • Water
      • Milk (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Put groundnuts, bananas, sugar, cardamom, and water in a mixer and grind for 2 minutes.
      2. Add milk to taste and serve.
  10. Coriander Coffee:

    • Ingredients:
      • Pepper, jeera, and dhania (equal quantities, powdered)
      • Dry ginger
      • Boiling water (200ml)
      • Jaggery or sugar
      • Lemon juice (to taste)
    • Instructions:
      1. Add one teaspoonful of the spice powder to boiling water and heat for 2 minutes.
      2. Filter it and add jaggery or sugar and lemon juice to taste.
